Ukraine crisis

It's over.
Ukraine cannot be supplied at the same speed that Russia can manufacture and provide.
The sanctions have failed and are hurting a now very disgruntled European populace.
Russia and it's allies pre-empted this, and have side stepped sanctions in a very balletic manner.
The Fed today announced the introduction of a crypto dollar so they can join alternatives to swift, in order to try and save the petrodollar and keep it as the default world currency.
They will fail.

Why are Europeans suffering for this corrupt little shithole? What's it's significance to us?
It refuses to come to the negotiation table. It ignored the Minsk II. It brought this on it's own shoulders by targeting and killing indiscriminately, it's own citizens in the Donbass region.
We need to withdraw support via sanction, as well as military support. This will force their hand, and save a lot of lives.

Text of link.
💢 Dutch Climate and Energy Minister Rob Jetten has announced that the Netherlands is lifting all restrictions on coal-fired power stations to reduce natural gas consumption, while making an “urgent appeal” to businesses to save as much energy as possible ahead of the winter season.

The Hague has activated the ‘early warning’ phase of its energy crisis plan, in the face of a potential shortage of natural gas this winter, Jetten said on Monday, adding that the decision had been prepared in coordination “with our European colleagues over the past few days.”

So where does that idiot live? I bet he can't even spell my name (even if I myself have difficulty on occasion). Has evidently addled his brain by watching Putin shill channels on youtube, has even posted a link to the Duran which makes even many hardened Putin arselickers men feel queasy.

There was an old Russian couple sitting at the table next to mine this morning down on the seafront for coffee. The old man was watching something on his phone and making what sounded like a little kid mimicking an automatic machine gun, and when I turned around to see if he was playing a video game or something, instead I saw he had some sort of a live feed of news from what appeared to be a camera on some soldier's chest at the Ukraine front - only on the Russian side.

P-chow! Ping! Dugga-dugga-dugga-dugga! Dugga! Pisht! Whisht! Putta-putta-putta-putta! Pree-owwh!!

I nearly fell off my chair laughing.

Ain't war hell?

A good proportion of the men whom the Russians are sending into the meatgrinder at the moment have been pressganged from Donetsk and Lugansk, they can enjoy playing war-games with them without worrying whether they get killed (they're only another damned lot of Ukrainians after all).

Really? No one has been conscripted into the Russian army in the DPR. However, Ukraine is conscripting atm, 16 to 64 year olds. So who is sending who into the meatgrinder?

That shows how much you know about what is going on in the 'people's republics', it is not official conscription, which is not necessary in those hellholes as it would be in Russia itself, more like pressganging men to send them out with inadequate equipment. Most of the Russian casualties come either from Ukraine or from dirt-poor regions miles away from Russia; hardly anyone at all from the Moscow and St Petersburg areas. No one cares greatly in Russia itself about ethnic peasants getting killed, or about Khokhols, even if this whole business has supposedly been launched in the interest of Khokhols who happen to speak Russian.

More on the people's republics in relation to Ukrianian resistance against the invasion in :

British intelligence reckons that 55% of the men from the militias of the Donetsk militias have been killed,

No, Putin won't want to commit suicide by using nuclear weapons against other nuclear powers, and his military probably wouldn't be willing to put the order into effect even if he issued it. Nuclear sabre-rattling is not a sign of strength.

Nuclear nightmare diplomacy brings us all back to the Cold War.

Frankly, if either Putin or Biden flip the switch, it's grand by me - I'm ready.

It's not much of a world to enjoy in it's present condition, and it's only going to get worse. I've had my fun, and that's all that matters. Besides, in a few short years, Jambo will finally have the vote. Best to opt out now and save joining the queue to oblivion.

This is Cold War type manipulation all over again.

In fact, had the Cold War actually manifested itself, then the chances of Ireland taking in say 50,000 English people would have been remote at best. Fast forward to today and we have Ireland acting as the buffer and basket of the Ukrainian war.

So long as you keep your people in perpetual fear, you have them in the palm of your hand.

Nothing frightens people more than a shadowy fear of their own master's vanity.

Putin's the classic variety.

But the fear Irish people have of their political class isn't based on the fear of them going over the top, it's the fear of them fucking up everything they touch. Which is why the Irish homeless have been discarded in favour of the women and children of someone else's war. A war you fools have fuck all to do with, but are somehow roped into it by your own political elite.

Why?

How long are these people staying? Or is it that they're now part of the Ireland 2050 Project? And they're staying because, well.. ..because they can? Because there's fuck all you or yours can do about it? What's the benefit for them? What's the benefit for you? Who's making money out of this and how? What mandate has the current coalition actually got to override the needs of the Irish in favour of a nation we know fuck all about and have few dealings with? What if it kicks off in Asia over the next days or weeks? Are you going to take the Taiwanese in as well?

Why is Ireland the EU's slops bucket?

I think Nigerian princes arriving from Ukraine was the tipping point for a lot of Irish people.

A tipping point normally breaches society and the centre falls apart.

Paddy's not doing anything to object to any of this bar slapping up a few posts on social media.

No more Ukrainians should come to Ireland , it's not our war and too much has been done already , there are reports of Ukrainians who had been moved to Spain but subsequently turned up in Ireland as the benefits were more attractive
